This post is about the three cute and functional handbags every woman should own

I never go anywhere without a handbag. I’ve lost count of how many bags I’ve owned over the years! But through trial and error, and deciding that I should only buy what i ‘need’ and not what i ‘want’, I’ve narrowed down my bag collection to these three styles. They’re versatile, stylish, and, combined, will have you covered for any occasion.

1. The Classic everyday handbag

For me, this is a tote. A classic tote bag is versatile and can be dressed up or down, for work, shopping, meeting friends, going around with kids, you name it. It’s just perfect for carrying your essentials, from your laptop to your makeup bag. I always love to go for a timeless design in a neutral color like black, brown, or beige.

My preference is also to avoid overly casual looking bags, so that it can be used not only for super casual looks but also for slightly elevated looks. That said depending on what you do on a daily, a casual looking bag may be more appropriate as your cross body bag. Always consider your circumstances and what suits you best.

I would typically go for a bag that makes a statement, But because I am cutting down on the number of bags I have and prefer a versatile bag that would go with many outfits, these are my top options.
