What to wear to Church
Church outfit #1
What you wear to church should be comfortable. I go to church in Europe and I see a lot of smart casual skirt outfits like this one. Regardless of where you go to church, I think this is a great outfit for anyone. To recreate this look, pair any midi skirt you have with a lovely long cardigan, a camisole, plus some cute sling back or pump heels.
It gives such a modest vibe that can take you from Church to Sunday Brunch.
Church Outfit #2
There is something about Knit dresses that just feels church-worthy. They’re snug but comfy and give an effortless look. Pairing this dress with heels elevates it. However If you want to tone things down a little, you can pair it with ballet flats or sling back flats.
This is such a flattering dress and since it’s a one-piece outfit, it’s an effortless look to pull off on Sunday for church or for a Baptism.
P.S If you have a mommy pouch you would like to conceal, go for wrap knit dresses or A-line dresses instead of the figure fitting dress.
Church Outfit #3
If you love trousers, this is a cute and practical outfit that is suitable for Church. This outfit is perfect for both cold and warm weather.
You can also wear your trouser with a lady Jacket and silk tank top, during the colder months. The combo (below)with pointy flats remains one of my favorite chic outfits of all time. Because let’s be honest, it can be worn for other occasions to – to work, playdates, parties and loads more. So you can get a lot out of just one outfit.
Can you wear Jeans to Church?
Sometimes I do! Because my church embraces a more relaxed dress code. Traditional or conservative churches will often favor a more formal atmosphere, and dress pants or slacks would be the safer choice.
Dress pants do actually look really good and give a dressed up feeling. I love the way nellahgrace paired her outfit with mules. With her smart trousers and casual mules, this is the typical smart casual look and we love it.
Church Outfit #4
Another great outfit for church is Maxi skirts and this satin skirt is a church must have!. The lightweight fabric will keep you cool in hot months, and in cold months you can wear tights underneath and add in boots.
You can’t go wrong with long sleeve cotton tops or intricate tops with a satin skirt. This simple top, styled up with a simple bracelet, a clutch bag and loop earrings will have you looking really put together for church.
You can also pair your satin skirt with a blazer and tank top, or with a sweater (below) especially during fall or cold spring months.
Paired with a sandal, or sling back mid heels this chic look is perfect for Church!
Church Outfit #5
Floral dresses are the absolute church uniform. It can be paired with boots during colder months or with ballet flats or sandals during summer. This dress is pretty, of a decent length and can easily go from Church to a family lunch outing on a Sunday. What’s not to love?
If you would like a dressier look, you can also go for this floral/embroidery dresses. They are usually very pretty, chic and church appropriate.
Church Outfit #6
A satin dress, just like a satin skirt, is so versatile. By pairing it with this cropped cardigan it looks absolutely perfect for church. I personally love how this pink dress is feminine. It’s such an easy go-to look every Sunday. Imagine having this dress in 4 colours and 4 different cover ups, you can mix and match to create at least 16 outfits, effortlessly.

What’s better than a shirt dress? A print shirt dress! I can never get enough of shirt dresses. They fit most occasions and this midi dress is just perfect for church. Shirt dresses fit pretty much any shape. I love how the belt has been used to cinch the waist and break up the print for a balanced look.such a great way to accessories an already pretty dress.
