How can I remove the rubberbands without cutting my hair?
Place some Rosemary oil between your thumb and index finger and massage the hair band in a rolling motion. Once the rubberband is well oiled, it will slide out easily. This is often easier and better than forcing it out or using a scissors.

This is based on personal preference. You can go for a week or two or even less depending on how soon you like to change your hair. Your hair has a good chance of lasting long if you sleep with a satin bonnet or satin pillow case.
